A Beautiful mess was performed at DC Arts Center (DCAC) for a group show titled intermediate : Fluxes interpretations curated by Dawne Langford. Each artist was invited to create a work inspired by the fluxes movement. I chose to focus on Nam June Paik. He is known as the godfather of video arts recontextualizing how familiar images were experienced. Nam created a work titled "Buddha Watching TV" I used this work as a frame of reference because it spoke to the glorification of a God in through a projected image on a screen.
